Jenny and Matt: He's a mechanical engineer (go Jaspers!!!) - she's a speech pathologist - together they are just about the cutest thing you've ever seen. I met up with them at a vineyard and we braved the yucky weather and MADE IT WORK ya'll. Here's Matt getting out the "this is awkward" jitters. These two are naturals. Obbbviiousssllyy. Picnic anyone??? FAVORITE. Prediction: You two are going to make quite a stunning bride/groom combo. See you crazy lovebirds in June 2013 - Can't wait for the big day!

Rebecca is taking Intro to Photography this year in high school and when I found out she needed a 35mm film camera I jumped at the excuse to take a photography-themed day trip into the city! We hit up the used departments of both BH Photo and Adorama and scored with a great deal on a Canon (yayyyyyyy Canon) 35mm in perfect working condition. The sales guy loaded the film (yup, no clue how to load film....go ahead and judge) for us and away we went!! I am so jealous of Rebecca getting to take this class that I have considered looking for an Intro to film photography class for myself. There is a look to photographs taken with film that I LOVE and simply cannot be replicated digitally. It's like that old, scratchy, bass sound you get from a record - juusstttttt not gonna happen on an mp3. YES. My future business partner! Here she is in action. CAN'T WAIT to see her shots! We burned through 50 city blocks and a whole roll of black and white film. City gurrllll. ELMO!!! Elmo totally followed us to the car. Creepster. The real Elmo would never do that. Stay tuned for Rebecca's shots from the day. Hope everyone had a great weekend!!
Ladies and Gentleman, please fasten your seatbelts and put your tray tables in the upright position because this wedding ROCKED. hard. Remle and Jeff, non-profit warriors and all around AMAZING people, were married at the lovely Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY. Remle banged up her knee a few weeks ago but instead of getting sad she got awesome. Cute sneakers, golden cane and all... Hair and makeup was done by her fabulous UCBs (Under Cover Bridesmaids). How many UCB's does it take to get a bum-knee bride into a gown??? anndddd WOW. gorgeous GORGEOUS gorgeous dahhhlinggg... Anndddd this is when the wedding photographer starts crying. I absolutely adore these next two shots of Remle's Mom. So sweet. MEANWHILE, Jeff and the guys were enacting their own version of "getting ready" First look... Off to take some portraits and then it's time to get hitched!!! When a bride and her maids dance, LITERALLY dance, down the aisle to "Home" by Edward Sharpe...I award cool points for life... MARRIED!! Proud of this one :-) This is what happens when I yell out "HOLY #@&% YOU GUYS ARE MARRIED!!!" I'm soooooo professional. My hand to God - I actually do take "normal" portraits as well, but let's face it - these are just more fun! PARTY TIME! I snapped this shot as I walked back to my car. The party was just getting geared up. I am fully confident that the rest of the evening was amazing. Remle and Jeff, you complete me. Let me photograph your littles!!!!!
I have a major confession to make. Remember my session with Tricia and Nick? Wellllll I may have committed a little teeny weeny white lie. It was definitely NOT an anytime session. In fact, Tricia organized the session so she could make a slideshow of the images for her parents. The last two images of the slideshow (which I intentionally did NOT include in my blog post so the secret was safe) had a special message, and well, I'll let Odie do the talking.... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . YAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tricia is preggo!!!!!!!!!!!! Prediction: Tricia and Nick will be AMAZING parents :-) Congrats you two!
