I have been editing and cropping since 9 am and I'm finally done! Long day of back to back shoots yesterday. First a bridal makeup showcase for the very talented Kristen and then an engagement session with Kaitlin and Chris <3 Thank god for the beautiful weather! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Big thank you to John and Denise for allowing me to drag them around on an impromptu 15 minute session before the sun went down.
Absolutely loving my new lens byyyy the way....can't wait for my sessions this weekend! After way too many hours scouring countless photography forums and picking the brain of my endlessly patient friend Chris Donovan I have decided to return my 100mm macro and go for the Canon 24-70mm 2.8L zoom. Definitely a pretty penny but I think this will be a more versatile lens for me. Now I have my eye on the 5D Mark II body...time to start scrimping and saving.
Also, I will be changing the look of my site layout in the next week or two to a more photo-friendly flash site. Really excited about this, just need to find the time to make it happen. Lastly, I have a photoshoot on Saturday with a makeup artist friend who is building a site of her own to showcase her wedding makeup skillz. She has arranged for several bridal models and I am renting the 5D for the day and am verrrryyyyyyy excited to get a chance to shoot with that bad boy! Check back for the results. Busy busy busyyyyy and the sun was out when I left work today. Woooo daylight savings. Congrats to my brother Dan and his FIANCE Kathy!!! So happy for you guys. I sped over to my parents house this morning to get some pre-engagement shoot shots.
Heyy heyyy. Just had breakfast and walk on the beach with the muy bonita Kate Basler. It's such a gorgeous day in NY I couldn't resist bringing my camera.
