I spend wayyyyy too much of my time stalking other blogs for entertainment, inspiration and tips. Something I've seen done a few times is a "stuff I love" themed post. I really like the idea of grabbing images from all over and combining them to form a visual representation of the things that I use/eat/listen to/watch/enjoy at this moment in my life. SO...without adieu (yup...definitely had to look up the correct spelling on that bad boy) here is my stuff I love compilation!

I met up with Moira and my little best-buddies Lennon (Luke Skywalker) and Eden (Darth Vader) today and we took a trip over to the Westbury Gardens for some flower gazing and shutting snapping. Lots of fun catching up with these 3! Posted a lot more pics than usual -- First of all because it's been over a week since my last post and I've had several complaints from my cult followers, second of all because these kids are to-die-for photogenic and I just couldn't narrow it down...enjoy!
Here are a few shots I took the other day while wandering around San Diego. The day was kind of colorless to begin with, apparently what the locals call a "June Gloom," so I started to intentionally under-expose the pictures I was taking to give an even more "gloomy" feel.
I have a bunch (just know, from this point on, when I say "a bunch" i literally mean hundreds) more pictures from the last few days, many in color and not so dark and ominous. Still playing around with a photo-project I started inspired by the movie "Up in the Air" and my recent travels. Hopefully I have time in the near future to get it posted here. Until next time, (just stared at the blinking cursor for 3+ minutes and still don't know how to follow up "until next time"...ideas welcome). Peace! Lazy Sunday today with Joe and Gillies...just what I needed to recharge for my work trip to San Diego in the AM.
Snapped some shots of the usual lovefest. My place in this equation takes "third wheel" to a whole 'nother level. That being said, if anyone wants professional shots of their pet(s), I'm available judgement-free. I know all too well the powers of pet-obsession. Hope everyone had a great weekend! I'll be blogging from SD so check in from time to time! One of my favorite childhood memories has always been coming home from long family vacations and walking into the house late at night after driving all day. Everything smelled so familiar. I loved the feeling of finally curling up in my own bed.
After a lonnnggg stretch in Las Vegas for work this past week I have returned with a new-found appreciation for our comfy cozy apartment. Love it, hate it, learn to live with it - this will always be the first place that Joe and I lived together. So to express my momentary gratitude for our first shared space I snapped a bunch of pictures for the scrapbook I will never get around to putting together. Side note--I want to set up shop in the aisles of Michael's and ask each person how it is they have time to do all these crafty things.... Stay tuned this upcoming week...I am bringing my camera to San Diego for another work excursion and cannot wait to get some shots of the city scenery! |
