Why, hello there! Arely and Jeff got married over Memorial Day weekend and enduring pouring rains and unseasonably chilly weather with the best attitude EVA. I met up with Jeff at his parents house and found him and his Dad eating some good ole Bacon, Egg & Cheese sammiches. Yummm. Cool, calm & collected. Lookin good, Jeffrey! Then I headed over to Arely and the girls. There was much more action goin down there (as usual). This is probably my favorite shot of the entire day. I can just *hear* Arely laughing. She is such an amazing person, love this girl to death! BONITA! MUY BONITA! That shot on the right is barely edited. Arely is such a natural beauty :-) It's marrying time! MAWWIED! (but don't forget to sign the certificate!) Here's Arely and her brother, they are like clones! Supa tight, too. Awwww, I love Moms <3 It'sssss portrait time! BALLIN! LOVE that these guys were willing to brave the elements. My goodness, I love these shots. The reception was SO beautiful and had my Arely written all over it. Little artistic details everywhere. TO ARELY AND JEFF! I am so so SO happy for you guys. Thanks so much for having me there to document, I had a blast!

I always seem to have trouble picking just *one* shot from a wedding to preview, so here's two! I love these guys so much and they are a true example of not letting a little monsoon-like rain and crazy winds get in the way of enjoying their wedding day. So much more to share very soon but here's a sneak peek :-)
Hey friends! I shot Lydia and Kieran's engagement session tonight in Brooklyn and woah baby did we end up with a bunch of super fun images... HOW CUTE ARE THEY!? Lydia and I went to high school together - although we didn't really know each other. But when you grow up in FP, you just kinda know everyone...smallest.town.eva. My love for this next series of shots knows no bounds...the rain held off and we got some amazing cloud cover and resulting muted light. YUM! Lydia's Mom gave her this locket as an engagement gift. And guess what? I already forget the Italian to English translation of the saying. I AM MEMENTO. Oh hi, I love this ring. Cute!! Ending with this one. The shot that I have aptly nicknamed "for the parents." Lydia and Kieran I literally CAN'T WAIT to shoot your wedding in a few months! You guys are so up my alley :-)
She made raising 5 kids look effortless. As the middle child, I never felt lost or forgotten. My favorite thing about my Marmy is that our relationship defies all stereotypes....we have never gone for manicures and we both hate the mall. I will never get sick of making her uncomfortable and laughie when I make self-deprecating jokes about my figure. My Mom has more friends than me and knows pretty much everyone in good 'ole Floral Park. She's where I get my big cheekbones, my early gray-hairs and my moody mornings. And even though I'm almost 30 years old, sometimes life gets me down and I just need my Mommy. And she's always there :-)
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MARMY!!!!!! I love you! I had a spur-of-the-moment shoot tonight with my soon to be cousin Rebecca. She is a beautiful and talented dancer and I've had the idea for these shots rolling around in my head for quite a while.... Sometimes it's so fun just to relax and shoot for myself, with no pressure and no timelines. She is FIFTEEN years old. FIFTEEN. Say wuutttt? BEAUTEOUS! Thanks for modeling Bec!!
